The Company’s desire to join the green economy, against pollution and waste, goes hand in hand with structural and economic growth. Respect of working conditions and Company welfare have become the main focus that leads our new well-defined strategic development plan, together with reduction of CO2 emissions, sustainable raw materials choice, reduced energy consume, handling of production surplus.
Sustainability is achieved through concrete actions
Company’s commitment is made by precise and tangible actions. More specifically:
- In 2023, we obtained the ESG ECOVADIS certification with GOLD Scorecard entering the 5% TOP GLOBAL
- 100% of industrial vegetable waste are destined to a biodigester for the biogas production
- we measure LCA Carbon Footprint of our products, we introduced the 231 standard, reduced the weight of the primary & secondary packaging and developed new sustainable eco packaging
- we installed two cogenerators in our facilities
- we introduced a welfare program and consistently increased the continuing education of our employers
- we increased by 50% our charity activities
